Dove Cottage is situated in West End Lane, Marshchapel, which is a rural community.

To the east the view over the fields is towards the village, giving a beautiful
glimpse of St. Mary's church surrounded by trees.

From the lane; to the west, can be seen the Lincolshire Wolds.

An area of natural outstanding beauty and an ever changing vista throughtout the year.

The cottage is situated about a mile from the village, which is
about two minutes by car or a leisurely walk.

Marshchapel has a good Post Office/General Store/Off Licence.

A Fish and Chip Shop.

There are two pubs: White Horse and Greyhound: both serve food.

There is also a Garage for repair work but unfortunately no longer serves fuel.

Throughout the year we have events taking place in our village hall and church,
such as Concerts and Exhibitions which are always worth a visit.
